The Danish designer and architect, Bent Severin, has fashioned this popular set of barbeque/steak flatware. The cutlery is of the highest quality and the combination of materials exquisite.

This is a very robust set of cutlery which can be used for all occasions. The blade of the knife makes it particularly suitable for barbecued meat or steak. The handle is made of genuine Stamina wood, which only grows in Spain. The rest of the knife is made from highly-finished stainless steel.

The history of Holmegaard began in 1823, when Count Christian Danneskiold-Samsøe petitioned for the permission to build a glassworks at Holmegaard Mose. The Count passed away the same year but his widow Countess Henriette Danneskiold-Samsøe pursued the project, making her the woman behind Holmegaard.

Holmegaard have now become part of a large modern design collective. During the 20th Century, renowned artists designed for Holmegaard and established a long and proud tradition until today where some of Denmark’s big talents are still associated with glass production at Holmegaard.

The music orb is a delicate wooden ball 92mm diameter in light beech or dark oak, waxed.

A turn of the elegantly shaped key magically produces Mozart’s “Voi che sapete” from “Marriage of Figaro” from inside the solid wooden ball.


The 18 note chime plays whether the ball is rolling across the floor or standing on a table as an intriguing ornament.


Manufactured in a village on the edge of the Black Forest, the chime is mounted in premium quality wood that has been fashioned into a perfect sphere.  Though the mechanism remains hidden, the music will always escape the bounds of the geometric form.

BIRD was designed by architect Kristian Vedel (1923 – 2003) in 1959.

Vedel designed an entire family of BIRDS – children, parents and grandparents. The birds come in their original packaging design and are handmade in Denmark in natural or smoked oak, that has been aged 15 years.

By tilting their heads in virtually any direction, the BIRDs can express every frame of mind - happy, sad, curious, alert, etc. The bodies can be turned upside down making it either a male or female.
